October 14, 2023 – MiraNila Heritage House Tour

“Before the city, there was MiraNila.”

Travel back to the gracious past. Marvel at the artistry of Filipino craftsmen. Feel the elegance of the gently curving balustrade, the finely carved bookcases and gleaming wooden floors.
MiraNila was the Benitez family home built in 1929. It played host to Philippine presidents, members of Congress, diplomats, cultural luminaries, even Japanese Imperial Army Officers during the years of the Occupation. It is home to thousands of old and rare books, paintings of National Masters, antique furniture and souvenirs dating back to the 1800s. It is one of only two declared heritage houses by the National Historical Commission.
Experience history. MiraNila’s walls tell endless stories. Listen and be enthralled.

Join us on a tour of this heritage home on 14 October 2023 (Saturday), at 10:00 AM.
