Junior FINEX (JFINEX)

The Junior FINEX Committee (JFINEX), in partnership with JPMorgan Chase & Co., held the 1st Junior Finance Executives Summit (JFINEX Summit), with the theme “The Future of Finance: Leadership, Innovation, Careers & Opportunities” on March 28, 2025, Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm at the 2nd Floor Ballroom 3, New World Hotel Makati. The summit is designed to inspire, educate, and empower business and finance college students as they prepare to transition from academe to professional careers.

Also featured was the awarding ceremony for the 24th Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition (ICFC). Leading the 24th ICFC was the University of the Philippines Diliman, with De La Salle University Manila and the University of San Carlos.

Junior FINEX (JFINEX) serves as the vehicle of FINEX to promote advance learning in business and finance among the youth in partnership with the various colleges and universities in the Philippines. JFINEX aims to professionalize and make the students more competitive not only in the national scene, but also throughout the world.  

Among the programs of JFINEX is the Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition (ICFC) which supports the development of financial literacy among college students through the annual competition. ICFC is the longest–running finance competition in the country for more than 20 years now. Elimination rounds are conducted simultaneously in seven (7) different sites (Baguio, Pampanga, NCR-Manila, Bacolod, Cebu, Davao and Cagayan de Oro) while the ICFC Finals are conducted in Manila, at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas office.
