By becoming a FINEX member, your company automatically accesses our esteemed network through our comprehensive range of relevant membership meetings, symposia, seminars, and local and international conferences, which serve as fora for discussion and professional linkages. FINEX members enjoy numerous benefits geared toward professional advancement and personal development. FINEX members likewise access into relevant national issues and updates on government regulations and business developments.
FINEX has wide array of programs and services for its members:
– monthly General Membership Meeting (GMM) with distinguished guest speakers
– seminars to promote professional and personal development of members
– Annual FINEX Conference held every 2nd week of October
Advocacy Work. FINEX co-chairs the Capital Market Development (CMD) Council with the Department of Finance and partners with different government agencies on finance-related issues.
At the height of pandemic in 2020, FINEX conducted 26 webinars from March to December and one face-to-face seminar in February. The Annual FINEX Conference was held virtually for the first time, with 10 sessions for one week involving 11 keynote speakers, 22 panelists and 11 moderators. A total of 15 statements and position papers were issued last year – 10 joint statements, 3 FINEX-led and 5 stand-alone.
FINEX Foundation conducted 5 webinars and FINEX Academy had one.
Since 2022, FINEX has been slowly transitioning to face to face events. A total of 35 events were conducted which includes the monthly membership meetings, tours, fellowships, fireside chats, courtesy calls, golf tournaments and international and local trips. Only five were online events.
The 2023 Annual FINEX Conference, “Navigating Global Uncertainties Toward Sustainable Growth”, was conducted online consisting of eight (8) sessions from Monday to Thursday and one whole day face-to-face event on Friday with a total of 42 guests as keynote speakers, panelists and moderators.
How to be a member?
To be considered for membership, a potential member should be affiliated with a company and should belong to its senior management team. He/she must also be sponsored by a FINEX member of good standing.
To process the nomination, below documents should be submitted, together with the filled-up nomination form (download HERE):
– Latest Audited Financial Statements of the nominee’s company
– Company profile
– Table of Organization showing nominee’s position
– Resume/Curriculum Vitae of the nominee
– Recent 2″ x 2″ photo of the nominee
